Read to page 178 and was bored. I don’t understand the hype.

Another DNF, at page 460. I found some part very very funny (Crispín Hershey) but my interest plummeted and couldn’t bring myself to finish. Very disappointed.

Meh. Interesting premise but I had to speed read parts as all felt one dimensional.

Charming to a point, but I wouldn’t want to read much more of it and certainly wouldn’t buy the sequel.

Given up at 100 pages. Too irritated.

Liked at first but couldn’t stomach the gleeful recollections of his feral childhood combined with boasting about not respecting other cultures (e.g thinking it’s ok to lie on ancient Mayan relics to take selfies with his bonehead brother.) So ditched it pretty soon.

Couldn’t engage, nasty feelings envoked.

I’ve had to give up on this. I really like Joanne M.Harris books and also mythology but I just couldn’t get into the japes of “yours truly” Loki.
