The Germans set a date for the Jews to leave all German cities/country by June 1. Also, Anne Frank wrote a poem for her dad on his birthday. Lastly, she is the only one whose clothes do not fit, especially in winter, affecting her.

Anne and her family all have their own spot to bathe themselves since they do have running water. Also, they celebrated Mrs. Van Daan´s birthday. Her dad turned out to be sick but they cannot call the doctor since they are in hiding. Anne and her family also got a big scare because there were big noises that sounded like someone was trying to get into their hiding place but it was just the carpenter.

I read that Anne went to go talk to the Van Daans about the boy she is currently talking to. Also, Anne doesn't understand why adults have to be talking about children and their flaws. Lastly, Mrs. Van Daan always puts herself in other people´s conversations.

The Van Daans finally moved in with Anne's family, but they got there a day earlier because the Nazis were gonna do something the day they were supposed to move in. Also, her siblings were not allowed to read a book because it talked about women, which is weird since they were mature enough.

Anne shows her parents her report card and they are very proud of her. But days go on and the Van Daans want to talk to her parents. It was regarding them moving into a secret annex. They move into their secret annex with the Van Daans having to leave their home to a lonely man. Anne starts to explain everything that the secret annex contains. She and her father start to unpack everything.

Anne celebrated her birthday. Which her birthday is on June 12. Then she explains how she has no real friends so for that reason she is writing in a diary who she will call Kitty. She later goes on to talk about how she is going out with a guy named Harry, at the appropriate times since there are many restrictions on Jews by the Nazis.

So America was being sent already with the rest of the girls to prepare for the selection. The mayor was asking them to say if few words. But America didn’t want to say anything because she was nervous. When on their way to prepare for the selection she saw the rest of the girls. They all talked and a few girls actually recognized America.

A lot of different people from the palace came to America’s house setting rules for her and just preparing her/ her family for the selection. After she signed so many papers, Aspen came to her house to help her organize herself for the selection as well as to give her flowers from his sisters/ mom. In the end they got into an argument which left Aspen crying.

America had brought over left overs to the tree house for Aspen to enjoy. But an argument arose after Aspen realized that he should be providing for America not the other way around. He ended up breaking up with her because he doesn’t want to make her a six and have to make her suffer. After that America’s family went to the TV, they were announcing the 35 girls elected for the selection. America was one of them.

America’s family watched the TV as the royal family gave announcements. They talked about how they are dealing with a situation in New Asia to prince Maxon soon to be choosing a possible wife. Later that night America was getting ready for bed when Aspen came into her room. He laid next to her but they could risk a lot of things if they continue to see each other this way.

America and her parents decide to make a deal with her. The deal sounded great to America so she decides to sign the paper and they go turn it in. When they got there Aspen’s mom and sisters were in line. They were talking about how he seems as if he’s been seeing someone and how he changed for the better because of her. America was smiling the whole time they were mentioning that because she knew it was her.

It turned out to be Aspen. They both very much like each other. They had been talking about the selection. America doesn’t want to do it but he encourages her to do it at least for him. He doesn’t want to continue seeing her and her family suffer. Their relationship give me Elizabeth Swan and William Turner vibes(from pirates of the Caribbean)Since America is being set up to maybe marry someone she don’t love.

America is discussing with her family the whole situation about being a selection for the prince. She really doesn’t want to be an option but her mom is kind of forcing her. She really thinks about it and it could really benefit her family. However, it’s late at night and she sneaked out the house and as she was getting out she saw a light and a figure. She runs towards it and turned out to be someone.

Starr’s parents get to the store and it’s already up in flames. They hurry out and it turns out king and his king lords set the store on fire. Ambulances and firefighters come to scene. Everyone goes against king and blame it on him so the police end up taking them. DeVante decides to become a witness of the event and other things King has caused to hopefully put him in jail.

Seven’s car ended up running out of gas so they end up going to a gas station. However, Starr notices Ms. Ofrah and she suggests that Starr should amplify her voice in the protest but Ms. Ofrah has renounced her position as her attorney. There a camera man records everything Starr says. Then police throw tear gas towards her so a guy picks the four of them up and takes them to Big Mav’s store.

Seven, Starr, DeVante, and Chris all end up going to see the riots and protests because they were all so upset that the officer wasn’t charged for Khalil’s death. While they were there Starr didn’t like the look of the riots because she started remembering how when her parents could barely afford anything they were getting necessities or even working in McDonald’s that barely pays a minimum wage.

Starr goes to Chris’s house while she was there she got a scary phone call from Seven. He picks her and Chris up and head to Iesha’s house. There they took everyone because turns out King lords jumped DeVante. Iesha in a way helped by making Seven take everyone so King won’t let his frustration out on them. On their way back home the radio said that the jury decided not to indict the officer who killed Khalil.

So Starr’s family is celebrating at uncle Carlos for sevens birthday/ graduation party. Everyone is having a good time even Chris and maya come over. Starr was kind of worried on how to act around them and her family but everything went fine. Till Sevens mom came and she started going off on him for not inviting her. But seven went off how she never acted like a mom to him. After that everyone went back to partying

Now everyone is just waiting on the grand jury’s decision. Its already been 2 weeks. From there Starr went to school at Williamson only to later get herself into a fight with Hailey because she started running her mouth about Khalil and how he would’ve been dead because he was a “drug dealer/ gangbanger.” Even Hailey’s brother stepped in so Seven fought him. Them 4 ended up getting suspended for three days.

It is the day of the of the grand jury. Starr gets up and eats while her mom and aunt Pam continue making breakfast for everyone. She goes to see her uncle Carlos and her dad. For some reason they are great buddies. They are on their way to the courthouse when Starr, starts getting deja vu from the time her dad went to prison. When she got there she went inside alone. And felt prepared to bring justice for Khalil.

Lisa and Maverick take their kids towards uncle carlos’s house but they ended up passing his house. They ended up taking them to see a new house in the suburbs. They really liked it. They got back home and watched a very competitive basketball game. When all of a sudden there was gunshots at their home. Most likely either the cops or King Lords did it due to Starr’s interview and what she said in it.

Starr’s interview was aired on TV. It was the most watched interview. It’s Saturday and Starr is getting ready for prom. Chris pulls up in rolls Royce and they head to the prom. The whole time there he kept giving her the silent treatment so that’s when they went to the car and discussed everything. He was mad that she didn’t let him know about her being witness. Starr ended up telling him all about her life.

So Starr is getting ready with her family to do the interview with Ms. Ofrah. Her mom assures them that they must speak with no ma’am, yes ma’am, no sir, yes sir. Before the interview Starr’s boyfriend texted her about the prom and if she knows her dress color. But obviously she didn’t because she hasn’t had time to pick her dress. Then during the interview she defends Khalil a lot and starts crying a lot.

So Starr and her mom go to IHOP and eat. They were talking about the whole situation with Khalil and also about her friendship with Hailey. They then go to talk with the DA and Starr ends up crying so they leave. Next day her dad encounters King at his shop and asks about DeVante but he lies about where he is. Later he tells his wife that they are finally gonna move out and they are gonna start looking for a house.

Holmesy texts Davis saying they need to meet ASAP. He comes to her house and she tells him the news that she probably knows where his dad. Also that he may be likely dead because there was a smell. But probably not however Davis automatically took the news as if his dad is really dead. He goes home and she ends up texting him but he doesn’t respond. So Holmesy texts Daisy and she comes over to Holmesy’s house.

Holmesy and Davis went to Applebee’s but her thoughts came to her so she asks him if he can go sit across from her. Then, days after Daisy invites her to go to an art show with Mychal and her, since his art is going to be displayed. When they were there they kind of went a different lane when all of sudden Holmesy and Daisy figured it out that possibly Russell Pickett is dead in that sewer. The smell was horrible.

Holmesy ends up talking with her therapist. They talked about the whole situation and ways on how Holmesy can and will get better. Then she ends up seeing Daisy and they both start apologizing to each other and saying how they missed each other. Daisy ends up catching her up on everything that has been going on.

Holmesy starts describing how being in the hospital has felt. Also, how she is dealing with the pain she’s been having. Then she tells her mom that she is in big trouble with no context as to why she said that.

Holmesy was told that she must stay at the hospital for a few days is they can check on her. If everything goes well she won’t need surgery for liver lacerations. However, that was the last thing she wanted. Then, she texts Daisy and tells her sorry for having that big argument. After, she starts getting her spiraling thoughts and they tell her to drink the hand sanitizer. Which she does and her mom saw her.

Holmesy and Daisy decide to go to Applebee’s. Holmesy then confronts Daisy about the character Ayala sounding like Holmesy. That’s when Daisy decides to call out Holmesy about how self centered she is and how she doesn’t know much about her own best friend. Next thing you know it got Holmesy with so much anger that for some reason didn’t let her brake which caused her to crash. They end up in the hospital.
