In Senegal, the polite expression for saying someone died is to say his or her library has burned.

Never before have I read a truly entertaining Introduction. Loving this so far!

And we start out with a Sherlock/Watson + H.P. Lovecraft mash-up?? This should be a great collection.

Tampa had a mafia scene? Donnie Brasco hung out at the Tahitian Inn?? Why did no one tell me this when I was there? My world is rocked.

She may be magic, but she sure is mean. Who is this person? Hoping she redeems herself in the second half.

I watched Saving Mr. Banks, now it's time to see what made her so mad about the whole thing.

Just mentioned "House of Leaves." *shiver* Still the scariest story I've ever read.

I don't remember much from the movie except it really creeped me out as a kid. Reading the book as an adult seems to be holding up the same!

Slow going. It's clever and interesting, but not a page turner where you're up until 3am just to see what happens next. More like watching TV on a Sunday afternoon and you see that The Andy Griffith Show is on. Then you stay and watch the rest of the episode because it's comfortable and it makes you smile.
