Perry Wallace was born and he was the youngest by ten years. They lived on a dead end of a road, and their whole family was very smart. We his siblings left the house, he became very close to his parents. In the Wallace family, they had two priorities, religion, and school.

The Vanderbilt Commodores have a game against the Mississippi State are on February 23. The game of basketball is separated from white and black. When they start playing basketball, the white people get mad and tell the other people to go away.

After Cameron told Neely wait when he was going to leave, they started talking about their past. She said that after he left her, she hated football because she hated him. After eleven at night Neely left and there came Friday, when the Bleachers will filled with people from Messina. All of the seniors that were the heroes of the school program were there wearing there game jerseys.

As the book went on, Neely and Cameron were talking on the deck of the house. She said that he ended up in Screamer's car and drove off with her and it really broke her heart. She was sad for a very long time and when she met her husband, she finally forgot about Neely. When she said this, Neely looked at her and said that he was sorry and thanked her for giving him a chance to say it.

Neely went to go meet his friend from school named Cameron. He was driving by her old house and saw that she was home so decided to say hi. When he did, he told her that he knew she had kids and a husband. She said her husband is rich, and Neely wasn't wealthy as him. Cameron said she doesn't ever think of him anymore and Neely said that it took him tens years to get his thoughts off of his chest.

They were driving through town and then they met Jesse. They wanted to tell him that Rake died from cancer because he knew Eddie Rake and meant the world to him, Jesse said that Eddie Rake was in the court room when he was sent off and it upset him because he felt like he failed in Eddie's eyes. After this, Neely decided to go to Cameron's old house and talk to her again because he loved her.

They continued to talk about the kid who went to prison. As Mal was talking, when they were driving down the road, they saw volleyball players and basketball players on each sides of the road. When they were driving, they saw who they were talking about and they pointed him out on the side of the road.

After talking about what had happened at halftime during the East Pike they continued talking about things. While driving on the road, Silo said that he wanted to drive, but Mal said no because it was illegal. Whenever they were talking about the East Pike game, they talked about someone and Neely said he didn't like the conversation.

They were talking about what had happened in the locker room after they were losing 31-0 against East Pike. The coaches came in very mad and coach Rake came in and punched Neely. Neely knocked Rake out cold and the other coach got beat up by Silo and they went out with Neely bleeding to win against East Pike.

Mal was continuing to talk about him in Vietnam and what happened. He got shot, in the river, and said that he passed out from the pain of the shot. He said that he was lucky to live from that war because other five had to get shipped home for their injuries.

In his police car, Mal was telling them a story of him in the Vietnam War trying to survive. He said that he was young and a fuel barrel blew up which caused him to leap into the river. When he was in the river, he knew that there were snakes in the river that were very venomous. He said that when he was on the side of the boat, he thought of Eddie Rake, because he always told them to not give up no matter the case.

The recording has already been over so they were continuing to talk about the game. They said that Neely called out three plays because they couldn't kick a field goal because they haven't all season. They also couldn't turn the ball over or they would lose. They ended up winning the game and they all jumped on Neely when they won.

The end of the tape was near and it was when they at the nineteen with the ball because East Pike had to punt the ball. At this time, they had to get eighty-one yards to come back and take the lead, but Coach Rake disappeared and the lights turned off. They didn't know what happened, and after this, they said that they gained yards to the fifty yard line.

The continue of the East Pike game was on. They were talking about how the Spartans came back with no coaches calling the plays for Messina. They were still losing 31-27 and the clock was at about two minutes and forty seconds. They had to get the stop here or they would lose the game because East Pike was trying to burn the clock down.

The rest of the pages were about them playing against East Pike and they were coming back. After they scores a second time, they tried another onside kick. It didn't work, but they got a stop and caused a punk which caused they to score again from a punt return.

Pretty much the whole five pages that I read, was about the game recording of them playing against East Pike. The first half, they were losing 31-0 and the whole second half, they were trying to come back. They scored a touchdown in the first ten minutes and they were working on getting some more yards to score again after East Pike fumbled the kickoff.

Nat comes to them and shows them the film of them playing against East Pike. They were losing 31-0 in the first half and Neely Crenshaw went 3 for 15 in the first half. The announcer said that he thought that it was going to be a battle between the two undefeated teams, but instead, East Pike is winning badly. In the second half, the Spartan's coaches were nowhere to be found. So in that time, they started doing ok.

Things have changed since Eddie Rake has been coach and when he left. The team has gotten worse because they keep losing to the bad teams. One time, they lost to a team they haven't lost to in like 80 years.

Neely was witnessing his town when he said he wanted to talked to Cameron again. Everyone started to get afraid because everyone didn't realize that Rake was the one who changed the school program for football. Every single time they played a game, they would get beat by a different team and things weren't going their way.

After talking about Rake, they started talking about Neely's passed on what he had done. Most of it was on the topic of him being an all american quarterback. He had a girlfriend named Cameron and he ended up dumping her because he thought someone else was hot. All the girls liked him because they wanted an all american to be their boy friend.

Rake hasn't been seen since about six months ago and they were kind of talking about him. He inspired Nat to open a shop and run a shop. Then one day, Rake went home sick and they thought that he was dead, because they haven't seen him in a long time.

As the story continued on, Nat was in the conversation, after the flashback of him doing bad. He as kind of catching up with the guys and he asked Neely about his knee. He said that is it better and Nat said that he got hit way too late.

After the flashback was over, the author explained some more times when Neely was playing. This follows up with them talking about Nat and they said that he had very little talent. He couldn't play any position and when Neely was playing, when it was fourth down, he would just go for it because his team couldn't kick the ball or play defense.

During the flashback of Neely's, they started talking about a kid named, Rudd. He was one of Coach Rake's favorite kids, and his parents always came to the games. At the end of the flashback, Neely said that he was tired of death and ready to play. Back to normal day, he was looking around again to see if there was anything else he remembers, and he said that he doesn't remember some things that are in Messina now.

While they were talking about their team was first good, they said that they lost to a bad team. The team was a basketball school and their football was bad. When they lost, they had people that were on the team left and didn't play anymore.

As the flashback went on from Neely remembering things of his home, it was the year when they lost because the winning got in their heads. He said that when a team wins how ever many games in a row, they become braggarts and then they lose. They then talked about their team and what was the problem with them.

They after the photo scene, they drove through their town. As they passed things, they had flashbacks or memories of them when they were kids. For example, when they drove passed the church, they remembered that Neely got baptized there. When they passed the baseball field, they remembered that they played baseball in Little League.

They were talking about a photo that was talked about the book. They were talking about how the photo was taken minute before Neely got hurt in the game against A&M. Then they explained that the photo was signed by Neely at the top.

They are talking about girls that they know, or once knew. They were also talking about Neely's girlfriend by telling us what she looks like and what she did. Then they started talking about Tessa Canyon and she clearly has something to do with something because they are talking about her not going to a funeral.

After talking to his friends, he met this gentlemen and he asked him if he had heard from his friend. He hasn't heard from her since college, but he has gotten one letter from her about her becoming famous. Paul started saying that she came to the ten-year routines and he gave us imagery on what she looked like.
