First 1/3 bored me and felt pretty pretentious, so I give it a six(ish) month pause. I’m glad I came back to it bc I really enjoyed the later parts of the book. Idk if it was me or the book, but I was able to get some hoot take away points in this love letter from daughter to parents. Pretty well researched (though I wanted lots of citations) and a lovely (and heavy) focus on traditions and patterns.
