The unjust treatment of a victim of sexual assault is baffling to me. Following her assault, I am heartbroken to hear the humiliating and often violating nature of the proceedings she undergoes with both her own lawyers and the justice system for a crime inflicted upon her. Even before her proceedings have begun, I feel so empathetic for the emotional distress she is subjected to.

But it is blatantly obvious soon it will be revealed the mom has a terminal illness. There have been multiple examples that will make it to the in memoriam montage as Nikki recalls memories of growing up being raised by her mother. No offense but the heavy handed moment of her mother sewing Cara’s veil, sighing that Cara’s mother won’t be at the wedding made me roll my eyes…

Ah so invested! Can’t wait to see how this ends!!!
