This woman is hilarious. The way she describes the most mundane of things is soooo entertaining. One day I hope to be as witty as her. It is also currently 2 am and I can’t put this book down. Cannot believe Tiff thought I wouldn’t like this book.

I am also becoming an annotater. Having thoughts is so much fun

Tiffany (my goat) got me this book as my bday present. But, loyal followers, this shall not affect the impartiality with which I review my books. I am a professional after all and take my good reads reviews very seriously.

i annotated a book for the first time. it’s on page 133. it was a reference to the pool that closed down rather than open it’s doors to colored patrons. it reminded me of the sum of us by heather mcghee, and the idea of the zero sum game. the actual note is not important, but this is a moment in time i guess.

the prologue may be the greatest prologue i have ever read. i’ve read it 4 times already, and i want to do it again. it’s hard to convince myself to even start the first chapter.

At this point in the book is basically fast and furious without cars. I like it but I just don’t see how it fits into the grander plot of the story.

I’m now in part 3 of the book, and without spoiling anything, this is probably going to be the meat of the action. The book is seeming to be very jumpy like events happen so fast, it seems like it was rushed, I still am really enjoying the book though.

The book is stating to get into the main crux of the story, but it constantly goes on these little side quests with montag that feel very sporadic, without any real purpose to the story. Even montag states himself that talking with his family, (his side quest) seemed pointless to him.

The book is picking up steam and is starting to finally get into the action. I like how we can hear montags thoughts and see the turmoil he’s in. I’m having a hard time putting the book down now.

The plot of the book is finally afoot, and it’s actually very interesting. The book is still very fast paced and confusing and I constantly find myself rereading parts of the text to understand what I had just read.

The book is getting interesting as we get to see an internal struggle build up in our main character. The problems still feel forced but I still find it interesting.

So far the plot feels kind of forced with many things happening at once. I like the premise so I think I’ll stick with it and hope it gets better.

Without spoiling anything, all I can say is this book is getting intense! I think that while nearing the end the story is starting to get a little repetitive, but it still feels like an adventure to read!
