Too much pathos! I’m petrified at the turn of each page that I will find out more details of what happened to Jude. It could be the lockdown situation right now, or my aversion to books about child abuse, but I can’t read this book right now. Also mildly irritated by the other protagonists who aren’t really bringing much to the story. Might return to this in happier times- but I might not.
