It took me a little while to get into this one, mostly cause I was annoyed the audiobook have been delayed.

I love TMNT and I love the concept of the Last Ronin, the comic itself I have mixed feelings on. But so far this novelization, though slow to get going, does a great job of delving deeper into the story and emotional impact of the original graphic novel.

This is the one high republic book that somehow evaded me! I just didnt end up getting it when it came out because there was so much stuff at the time!!!

But i just randomly found it in the wild while out of town today, so the purchase was instant!!!!!

New achievement: you have been sucked into the world of DCC. Sucker.

Gosh darn it! I have been completely unable to avoid the hype for these books all year. Never read them, but I found the GN adaptation on webtoon so thought I'd see what its about.

Maybe I'll get the audiobooks at some point. I have been in need of a new series.

And I really had been trying to avoid getting into this one.
