It was slow going at the onset. Written in very British English; proper and long winded at turns. The suspense is certainly built to an high point. Our characters are being pursued by their captures after having escaped through some very precarious holes at the back of a grouping of caves, racing through forest scrub and finally, now their skin dyed from walnut shells! I'm having a hard time putting it down.
