Florence wasn’t a character I liked. She was overly dramatic, avoided difficult conversations, refused help from others and kept putting off her deadlines, which STRESSED me out. Her character development felt sudden. I would’ve liked more insight to understand what prompted her to change.
Ben however was great! I suspected early on that he might be in a coma, so the end wasn't a big surprise.

The beginning of this book was confusing. I struggled to connect with Claire and the writing didn’t draw me in either. Around the halfway point, I got a better sense of where the story was headed. I really liked how the author gradually shifted my perception of Oscar. I initially found myself liking him, only to realize that he wasn’t right for Claire at all.
Overall, this book wasn’t a hit for me

I really struggled to get into this book. Eve was just too much for me. I couldn’t make sense of her actions, which made it difficult for me to connect with her as a character.
Since pregnancy played such a major role in this book, I expected to learn more. Instead, I found myself questioning the believability of several scenarios.
The writing wasn't my favourite either.

For most of the book, I felt like this was going to be a 2.5-star read at best.
I disliked how quickly Alice and Hayden became lovers. I also wasn’t invested in Margaret’s storyline, which changed during the last 20%, with all the plot holes revealed.
The third-act breakup was unnecessary, there was an easy way around it.
The last pages/ending was my favorite part of the book!

This is my favourite Annabel Monaghan book! I loved Dollys, she was so relatable and her development incredibly natural.
Stewart is a nearly picture perfect guy and I loved how he loves Dolly! The fake dating trope is one of the best I have read so far - no over the top drama, no forced kiss, but still being exposed which led into the typical third act breaking.
Perfect easy beach read with enough depth!

It took me almost a year to finish this book. I was incredibly frustrated with Avery and Lucky and their choices. Bonnie was by far my favourite and uncomplicated character.
In the second half it was incredible to witness the character development. I love how the sisters remained true to themselves while still growing and changing for the better. Most of all, I love that they found their way back to each other.

Immaculate! After the first 100 pages I felt really connected to all the characters, laughed and cried soo many times.
The writing was suspenseful in a way that left me with more questionmarks in my head than before and I got the answer like 10 chapters later. It also frltnlike every sentence had depth to it and could be understood in one way or another, loved it! Frederik is my man for great books.

This book was easy to follow, I was indulged in Anna's everyday life and chaos. Even though I was frustrated with her spiraling and feeling like she's a bad mother, not stepping up for herself and pushing Will away, I realized that this is life. Everyone has their flaws and weaknesses and I'm happy that her character developed. Cliche yet romantic ending🫶🏻

Man that ending was brutal!
I learned to love Colt and Maisie right from the start. Ella is such a strong main character and is perfectly completed with Beckett by her side. Even though I think she was not acting reasonable all the time, she was relatable and I loved her pov's and even more her letters to Beckett. He is one kind of a man, fought every day for her love and turned out to be the best dad.

Ich wollte definitiv kein open end, nicht nachdem mir die ganzen people ans Herz gewachsen sind🥺 Bärbel und Ralf passen sehr gut zusammen und ich LIEBE den character growth von Bärchen🫶🏻 Ich finde in diesem Buch merkt man am stärksten, dass es in sechziger Jahren spielt und die Ansichten nicht mehr den heutigen entsprechen. Johann ist still a legend!

Oh oh, this book is going to wreck me

This is a great book, I felt Larissas and Chris chemistry and connection and LOVED that they were friends for a year. They're a perfect match and so selfless. Chris is the definition of acts of service. He poured so much into his friends, especially Mike, and I truly didn't know how Larissa and him could be together without ruining his friendships. Loved the resolve and would definitely recommend this book.

My main point is, that I couldn't connect to the main characters and was often weirded out. The characters are unique and have a different view of life and how it should be lived. I sort of liked Phoebe's and Lila's friendship especially at the start, but it was definitely not normal. I was happy that Phobe and Juice got along nicely and that Phoebe went through a good character development.
Still just 2.5 stars

I really expected this to be a five star read since it was quite hyped, but up to this point I couldn't get into the story.
It was a surprise to know that Gary and Phoebe have a connection and chemistry. I feel like there is a lot of drama waiting to happen...

I loved Haley's debut novel!
She touched me with her writing and the characters grew close to me. I could relate to Blair more often than not. Grief is a big topic and was handled beautifully.
And even though I saw the answers to Blairs questions a lot sooner, I still was encapsulated in their love story.

Dolly is a wild one

This is so cute🥰

I definitely flew through the pages. I loved the plot, even though it was cliche at times. I could relate to all that friendship trouble and really got to like Angus same as Natalie did. I was rooting for Rob and Natalie. It felt real.
But in general the story won't stick with me for long, so I'm giving this 3.25 stars

Wow, I cried a few times, which I did NOT expect. I was completely immersed in the plot and felt every up and down with my whole heart. I loved the main character Helen and Jake and learned to love the rest of hiking group as well. Miscommunication was a big part of the story, that's why the rating is lower, but the ending was pretty cute. Really lovely quotes throughout
