Look me in the eyeball. Be for real with me. Deadass. Is it rlly the husband....... like.... rlly...

Dw yall the same guy has been dead for the past 90ish pages and we've been spending about 50 wondering if this kid with diabetes is going to die bc he forgot his insulin and they're all stuck there

I bet it was her husband. Updating it now so I can feel galaxy brain about being right later

Like halfway in. A guy was found dead 30 pages ago but nothing has happened since

Yawn

I didnt look at the goodreads reviews before getting this book so I can tell you that seeing a 2.96 rating gave me a big uh oh

My massive brain knew. Just saying

Should we ask pretend here that the obvious culprit will be a surprise once revealed, just bc the MC isn't saying her name on the line of suspects? That makes it obvious. Anyways watch me be wrong

I've been suspecting that the MC has some form of neurodivergency here but I do have to say it feels more justified when her reaction to being gifted a heart is "the excitement of something awful." I kind of get it but like. How calm and collected lmao

Should I get my panties in a twist at the casual usage and references of psychopathy or just vibe w an unserious story

We're getting a little too speculative now

Farmers, after moving cows away from pastures, forcing them off grazing, putting them into stalls and making them eat fatty-corn grain for the rest of their lives: lol why are my cows so sick and keep dying. So weird

You had me in the first half but if youre gonna blame the rising diagnoses of ADHD on pesticides again, we gonna fight

This is extremely dense. Also I'm never eating Driscolls again

What do u mean. What do u mean all of our food sucks and is worthless and is killing us. Wh a t

I straight up can only read about 2 or 3 pages of this a day because it is so dense with science and chemistry that i cant push through it without absorbing not a single thing

Everyone is so obsessed with Karlie but the only thing we learn about her is that she's super religious but then she goes a little bad but not that bad. Really getting into how religious she is tho. Like. I dont get it

We are finally in 1999

This book is not really about Karlie. We're spending chapters following different characters and their slice of life. Very little to do with Karlie at all

We are talking so much, so many tangents and outside details, and saying so little

He's full of love, despite it all

no way i happen to like this couple more than the first book. crazy

sorry. obsessed

Orok is an interesting and relatable character. I see you, person keeping everyone at a distance due to trust and acknowledged codependency issues...

Women should get angrier
