man it's been a fun light read so far. witty all the way!

it is REALLY something! I haven't anything like this before ⭐ it's raw and real!

The graphics were amazing right off the bat! best ones so far!!! 🔥

great! the only volume I didn't get a paperback of after getting disappointed by previous 3 had to go and be the best one yet!

PART 1
THE BIRTHDAY

is over. and boy it was a wild ride! I'mma be honest, I didn't exactly have too high hopes for this one, I mean what could top The Ballad of Songbirds and Songs? But boy I love to get surprised! Recommended 💯 already! Although the cover could've been better like TBOSAS instead of this cheap drawing of the flint striker. I'm sure there's another cover available so get that!

although I've watched the films before and I love them, the book also perfectly aligns with it.

I got a feeling I'm going to enjoy it!

this book OWNS me

It's the first book I'm ever re-reading. I knew re-reading's supposed to be fun and lowkey necessary but I could never bring myself to do it. I always felt like I already know the story.

But I realised that although the plot and writing might be the same but I'm a totally different person so I'll perceive the story differently. I've evolved and matured but I'm loving it all the same♥

I learned as many Greek myths from The Catalogue of Ships (Book II) as I did from Circe by Madeline Miller.

This says great things about both of them. Although with Iliad, I had to search up most of them while Circe fed me all the myths with her own hands (hopefully not smeared with Pharmaka (though I wouldn't mind getting turned into a sea god ^_°))

Book II
The story was going so smoothly and I was hooked but the catalogue of Achaen and Trojan forces got in the way of fun-reading.

whoa! I'm amazed.
Although there's barely been any progress in plot but the writing and language has me by the throat. Especially the witches (obviously)

SCREW BEING MATURE ABOUT IT AND NOT WRITING CHILDISH UPDATES I LOVE IT SO MUCH

I really want to be a grown up about it and not write "oh my god I love it so much" or "it's so good! I can't believe I waited this long to pick it up again" but I'm not ashamed that I couldn't finish it the first time because now feels like the right time. I can pretend I'm a character in the book and it's so fitting.

I will, however, say that it is definitely going to be on my golden trio-2023 shelf :)

it's decided: you should read them in order they were published and not chronologically because you'd love the nostalgia you'll feel for TBDATE characters 🕊️

I'm dying (figuratively, ofcourse) but Adam is playing the role of grim reaper quite literally for the beloved characters in the book😭
what kind of kick just he gets from torturing his characters and ultimately making a mess of his readers. like I'm not even that far into the book yet!!!
