Voy a terminar esta historia intentando llegar a la parte que realmente quiero leer. No recordaba cuánto interrumpe este recuerdo cada capítulo, casi como si el propio personaje se resistiera a revivirlo. Creo que eso justo lo que Sharlena buscaba: hacer que el lector experimente sentir cómo esas memorias irrumpen en su mente una y otra vez y cómo lucha desesperadamente por no recordarlas.. por no soñarlas.

No estoy diciendo que un adolescente de 17 años no pueda tener estos pensamientos o vivir las cosas de la manera en la que esta persona lo está haciendo, porque sé que sí. Diablos, parte de mi se ve en recuerdos de mi prepa. Pero me falta contexto para entender por qué alguien de 17 suena tan exhausto como alguien de 28. ¿Somos el resultado de lo que hicieron de nosotros? creo que a esa edad… sí?
