This mf Edwin is so directionless and unmotivated. We might be twins.

“Other than alcohol, [Anna had] never infested a mood-altering substance in her life.”

This is, like, the fifth time Dean has mentioned that Anna doesn’t drink. She’s really DRIVIN’ IT HOME how much of a goody-goody Anna is just in case we forgot from she said it in chapter one.

I'm probably going to DNF this book. An ominous proclamation for sure, but fret not, this isn't because the book is particularly bad or offensive, the charm is just gone for me. If I do end up finishing this book (by skimming), the material included in the review will only touch on content before Chapter 15.
