I really have to take it up a notch. I pledged 12 books in Japanese for 2018 and I've only read 3 so far... It's time for a Murakami reading spree.

Many people have been recommending this to me over the years and I am SO sorry for having taken that long. I've spent yesterday evening reading it and my diaphragm is sore from all the giggling

Is my German more rusty than I thought or is the writing style crazy convoluted?

I thought the title was 'Warehouse chair', so imagine my confusion when she starts describing her favorite warehouses as white, light and moist. Turns out ウエハース is 'wafers'

Interesting... the English translation selectively removed the parts where the protagonist shares his pina colada to Yuki (13 yo) and later buys her her own drink. Admittedly weird, but that was clearly not edited out just to cut back on space.

I'm so far from my reading goal... BUT I've decided to cut back drastically on Internet. Let's see how this goes :)
