I just finished John Macnab and gave it 2 stars. This book was recommended to me by a friend. But, as I am neither a hunter nor fisherman, the book did not appeal to me. The characters were not appealing in any way and the plot was very weak. I can't really recommend this book to anyone and I don't think I'll be reading other books by this author.

WOW! What a punch...surprises around each corner...This is the story of three women/friends and their sad situations. Moriarty's story telling is very compelling and her little conversation tidbits between chapters was delightful. I'm not a big fan of murder mysteries, but this was unique and engaging.

Loved the artwork. The story was sad, but not a compelling read. One thing the book teaches is that a single phase spoken in anger or haste can leave a devastating memory for a lifetime.

WOW! This book was a tough one to read; not because it was difficult to read but because it was so tragic. Tragedy on every turn. I knew what would happen to Laura and Jamie the first time they met, and I so hoped it wouldn't. Every character in the book is a tragic one, and I could see no redeeming values in any of them. Way too tragic for me...I actually wish I hadn't read it.

I just finished Little Britches: Father and I Were Ranchers and gave it 5 stars.

Quite remarkable true story of brave sisters during a terrible time of Afghanistan's history. I would like to know if things have gotten worse in the country....
