Slower than the previous two books but i love the world of Earthsea so much it doesn’t even matter

This too is survival

Yes

“I think now if I had had any intimation that the self I was going to find would turn out to be only the same self from which I had spent so much time in flight, I would have stayed at home. But, again, I think I knew, at the very bottom of my heart, exactly what I was doing when I took the boat for France.”
OOH I’m so into this

SOOO fucking good already

GAY omg

So cool to hear how ppl talked about transitioning in the past (common usage of word ‘gender’ started in the 50s!)

One of the first documented minors to transition with hormones, Mark Ferrow 1939 - “I am glad to be through with it all. I don’t think I could have faced up to it if there had not been some of the woman’s power of endurance in me, though really, I suppose, I have always been a man.” KING

This is so much better than i remember. I think there’s a chance that it will cure the sickness of my mind

Was worried i wouldnt like a new (ish) cast of characters but i actually love volume 2
