I want to like this more than I do. The world and concept is so good. The first book, so good. But Luka feels as though he has no substance as a character, and Alice is BEYOND annoying.

I'm finding myself to be mostly annoyed with this book, and pushing through in the hopes that it'll turn into something I love. Also it's made me laugh a bit so I'm really holding out hope. But I think I might quit.
