I think on theme is you do what you must for family, friends and people you care about. I say this because Digory is willing to go to another world for his friend Polly even though he knows nothing about this world.

Garfield always eats the pie and when it was gone and he didn't eat it, he suspected that someone ate it. His prior experience of eating the pie, led him to think that.

In chapter 1, the author uses a flashback to tell the reader more about the story and what had already happened.

I was surprised when Duke(the big dog), chased Sneakers(the cat) around like he was going to kill her when CJ wasn't home because he's never done it before.

CJ reminds me of my sister because she also runs away from her problems and avoids everyone she's mad at.

The story would be different if it was told by Gloria because she would make it seem like she was a good parent and doing the right thing and making the right choices.

I can imagine this situation on page 150 in my head because the author makes it clear to understand that Gloria is trying to get rid of Molly.
