So far I am really enjoying it. It’s a unique romance story that I haven’t read before. I love Fallon as a character. She’s honest and physically flawed. I haven’t quite figured out Ben’s issue but it’s coming to the surface.

I love Kate DiCamillo. For whatever reason I have never read this. A librarian friend of mine is getting negative feedback about using this at the elementary level so I was intrigued. So far one word that bothered an admin was “mistress” but it’s not what the admin person is thinking. In the context of the book it means the person who owns something. 🤦‍♀️

Reading this for PLC for librarians and ELA teaches and I’m glad I am. The concept of being a hermit and someone living in Maine for so long off the grid… very fascinating. I started reading today on page 5 and I feel like I can’t put it down.
