This book is a great example of what the quote “life is too short to waste it on reading bad books” is all about. In a world where hundreds, of books come out every day, I refuse to waste my precious reading time on one with a whimpering doormat of a heroine with a gaslighting antagonists of a husband and stepdaughter pair. I read to enjoy, not to be frustrated and angry at every character involved.
