I think half of the word count so far could have been deleted bc it's literally just Scarlett catching up to the thoughts of the reader in real time. I don't need this much extra explanation - I can follow the narrative myself!
Also icl I have no emotional attachment to the sister. I'm having to sub in my own sis just to feel something lol

I wish all the annoying extras could be deleted once and for all so we could have more time in Ronan and Adam's minds instead. Trying to avoid giving spoilers but there's soooo much more I want to know about how things have gone in this direction!

I again find myself losing steam with the plot and the more I see of Mr Gray, Mr Malory, and Mr Greenmantle the more I wish this were actually just about Blue and the boys going on meaningless adventures. These unlikeable men are just clogging the page count.

I remember transplanting the story to Wales when I read the first book in print format so it's really weird hearing all the American accents!! And I'm just going to continue ignoring any and all descriptions of Gansey. I'm sorry but I just can't imagine him as a muscly tanned white boy!
At least I now know I was pronouncing "Czerny" correctly.
