All the contemporary romance I read now starts off pretty good and then goes on for too long always with the same version of the miscommunication trope. This one is more annoying though because other scenes in this book have demonstrated that these characters aren't supposed to be a bunch of pansies that don't share their feelings just because they are scared. >:(

It's very likely that Thimble is the best character I've ever encountered in any story ever.

The character and setting descriptions are so clearly written, it's reading like a movie.

I would a-liken the story so far to my feelings about spiders. They creep me out and I do not want to be around them, but they are fascinating and interesting from afar.

It's so beautifully written and so difficult to read. I read The Enchanter forever ago, a short story of sorts for Lolita. It was recommended to me by my aunt so I gave it a go. I jumped into it without any clue what it was about and was met with 75 very difficult pages that took me 3 months to read. I'm giving the audiobook a go this time hoping that makes it easier to get through...
