After the first incident, I know I can't bear to watch this on a large movie screen. The book is more detailed from a writer's viewpoint. I'd rather imagine the horror instead of actually watching it on screen.

This book makes you feel like you're traveling through time and to other countries and cultures. Knowing how cultures are so deeply rooted, it's difficult when they cross and having all parties involved accepting each other.

It's difficult to live in one world, then move upwards to a different world. Trying to overcome a past is very hard when it is always a part of you. Always good to have mentors who have been there and have experience in decision making.

Good detail of all the ceremony and customs used to declare a new Pope. Some scenes of where a cardinal is reminded of a simple life with a bed and just a bath area. Otherwise, most places are elaborate and detailed.

I'm going through this book like a roll of toilet paper after bad Mexican food. After seeing the first movie, I had to get ready for the second movie. To see new characters come into view as if they've been there all along is a good thing. When people can joke with each other, even after they just met makes it feel like a true relationship immediately. Now there's more in life to balance.

Adding dementia to this story, also add another dimension to the story. We all start off active and busy with our lives. But in the end we become frail and our minds can become fragile. The way we all deal with it and show care towards it should help us become stronger and hopefully more spiritual in our final days 🙏.

After seeing the movie, it's good to get more details from the book. I'm reading and at the same time visually making the scenes in my head from the movie.

One part of the book discusses a female writer interviewing him. She says he doesn't look at females in a suggestive way, and they seem not to force themselves on him, which is rare for a top athlete. In many communities they'd be questioning if he's gay or not. Some people can't accept decent people as is. There most be some twist to their soapbox.

Just heard the script has been written for the movie and is looking for a director. Starring Will Smith.

This book will give me lots of background for the upcoming movie Monkey Man. A traditional Indian story of someone who rises up as a fighter for the low caste and works on his own personal faults as well as helping the weak. A tale of fighting for power and a sense of justice.

This book has be making predictions about the story. I'm getting hints that a midwife may have had her child abducted because someone lost their own child and now they blame the midwife. Just a guess.

Already a lot to his story. Domestic abuse. Living in small quarters. Hard to get hot water and indoor plumbing. Love of acting started early.

Great story of American rowers and their fight to win. But also a troubling back drop story to Hitler's rise to power and his cover up of the Jewish cleansing in Germany. To hide something and cover it up is an obvious sign that you think it'll be viewed as horrible to the rest of the world 🌎.

We all never know how our senior years will be. The one key that makes it better is a great caregiver. Never underestimate the care they give to loved ones. A family member isn't always the best for the job

After seeing the prequel, I had to get this to read. I feel more comfortable knowing the background and immediately understanding the characters and the settings. So many similarities to our real life societies and the gain for control.

In all of history, the Holocaust is affecting the wars going on today in Palestine. The debate will go on forever of where Israel should have their land. Until then, this will always be a biblical war of each side claiming their rights to the land.

Interesting to think how we would act if we knew that earth was being destroyed in a few years. Race to the moon to start a new civilization is one reaction. Or a braver one would be to accept our final days and live to the fullest. It's a higher sign from a Higher Source that our time is up. 🙏
