Once again Abby Jimenez is out here writing men (MMC) who are emotionally intelligent, deeply kind, wildly thoughtful… and somehow also ridiculously attractive?? Like ma’am! At this point I’m not even questioning the plot, I’m questioning reality. Because how am I NOT supposed to fall in love with every single one of her male leads??

Ok. Now this feels rushed. Not buying this. Why are things happening so fast?

The writing is too on the nose.
No subtlety, no subtext.
And nothing that has made intrinsically like or made me feel interested in the characters.
I’ll stick with it but I’m not going to lie, it’s disappointing.

Do I still dig it? Also yes.

This book should have a big fantasy category label in the front page because of how perfect the MMC is.

It is so frustrating that the protagonist keeps disappointing me.
Why does the author keep portraying her as capable and strong person to then make her get bitch slapped by a loser. Its upsetting!
