Ehhhh. Quirky start. Jury is out.

Oh man….this is just as sad as predicted. Don’t know how it ends but I know I’ll be crying.

After a serious book that tore me up, this is exactly the kind of escapist writing I needed.

Liza I love ya but I need you to tell shorter stories.

For my class book challenge. Really good. Will use as a class read next year.

Liza on her mom: she is so manipulative and I was scared of her
Liza 10 words later: she was the best mama on the world and I adored her.
Rinse and repeat that for the last two hours I’ve listened to this book.

Just read that Americans love to think they are th rebels in Star Wars but in actuality we ARE the empire.

Fifth grade reading challenge book.

Already love this narrator. Breaking my ban on super long books because I just keep hearing from people who love it.

On my 5th grade class reading challenge list, so I’m reading it as well. Not a fan of the writing at all. She’s trying too hard to make everyone and everything “quirky.” And I can’t stand when people write kids as adults.

I can already tell this book is going to make me angry in the best possible way.

This is so gooooood. I love love love the slow reveal of what happened in the past. And her snarky letters. Haha
