the author really felt the need to constantly point out that 'women do not want to be property'. This was published in 2020. I don't think that's a fact that needs to be reiterated so frequently

three and a half hours into this book and I swear I could summarize everything that's happened in about 5 sentences

There is something amusing about reading a precovid book as it describes the apocalypse starting via an an airborne disease that spreads rampantly with a government that is ill-equipped to deal with such things
