Flying through this audiobook, the only thing is there are so many names so if you zone out for 10 seconds you’re screwed and have to go back, so wishing I was immersive reading this tbh

I’m having a realllyyyy hard time with this book. I honestly think my own preferences are what’s getting in my way because I just can’t enjoy reading about a character using AI as a companion as a major plot point. Like for the most part I understand the author’s point in including it in the story in terms of showing the characters development. I’m just having a bad time. Luckily it’s short!

Do not sit there and try to convince me that living in North Hollywood and West Hollywood is a LONG DISTANCE RELATIONSHIP. According to Google Maps that is a 25 MINUTE DRIVE. Be so fr right now, don’t insult the hardship of long distance relationships like this, this is absurd

I’m already mad.

Nothing makes me more grateful not to be in high school than reading contemp YA books. Like I took 17 credits and worked 2 jobs one semester of undergrad and I would rather do that again than high school any fucking day.

The more I leave book reviews the less I believe in the 5 star review system.

This man yearns like a sapphic. You could never make me hate this series. I both want everyone I know to read these books but also not cause it will reveal some things about my psyche and not sure how I feel about that

Reading books that take place in my home state never fails to feel like a jump scare

This book is a fever dream

This is def my fav of the series. I #love this book and I’m having such a good time rereading it. This love story just makes me so happy which is really saying something cause it takes A LOT for me to root for a man

Ok I would just like the people to know that I have recovered and am no longer pissed off.

I am yelling in my apartment (by myself) I am so pissed off.

I have a musing that I’m sharing with the people: if I was an academic in the field of literature and had to do research for a PhD or grad program I would write my thesis on the omegaverse. It is just so bizarre to me that something that is so egregiously based on gender roles in a way that’s often offensive also defies gender rules at the same time.

Reading the scenes w Paloma now that I’ve read her POV in Unbound just makes me sad. I’m so excited to reread this whole series after book 4 comes out in October, I’m fucking pumped.

And so what I’m hearing is I need to go to Portugal … I love the queer book niche of like going on a European tour of some kind and falling in love with life and also a person … see The Pairing by Casey McQuinston

Guys I’m being so serious the last time I read this book was exactly a year ago to the day. What an absolutely insane coincidence. Also if you’re asking yourself why I’m rereading a book I gave 3 stars for the third time I would say that u can just feel free to ✨ignore that✨ cause in the words of Kendrick, I’ve been going through something :)
