I’m totally enjoying this book! I’ve read only the briefer basics about Cuba. This book delves into the very complex interactions between Cuba and the United States and, as you would guess, the devil is definitely in the details.

This book is super interesting!!!! The world is such a brutal and bloody place during this timeframe.

I thought that this was a pretty interesting book, although I have to say that the writing style made this one of the hardest books that I've read, excepting for textbooks. I did a lot of re-reading sections. Much of the thoughts in the book aren't far from where I stand. Now that I'm done, I'm glad that I read it. Hopefully I'll take on the first book this year!
