April is 86% done with The Outsider

I didn't enjoy the Finders Keepers novels. If I'd known this was a Finders Keepers novel, I wouldn't have picked it up in the first place. The first half was well written and intriguing, and then Holly Gibney shows up. She was my least favorite character in the Finders Keepers series, so I was not happy to see her at the 50% mark. I'll finish the book, but I'm having to force myself to read it at this point.

Ugh. Why, God, why?

"Of course, she wasn't really a kitty; she was about a year old." Um. What? "Kitty" doesn't mean kitten; it means cat. Also, who names a cat J'Austen?

This is my second attempt at reading this book, because I'm out of library books again, and it's Christmas so I have n access to anything better at the moment. Ugh.
