Very interesting biography of Queen Victoria's second daughter. Princess Alice grew up to be the mother of Alexandra, the last Tsarina of Russia and Grand Duchess Elizaveta whose husband was brutally assainated by anarchists in 1905. The fate of Alice's daughters was a tragic one as both were murdered by the Bolsheviks in 1917. Her eldest daughter Victoria was the grandmother to Prince Phillip.
