OK... This is my third Sarah J Maas book after my first DNF with Throne of Glass (Jeeeeez, yikes, help me) and actually kind of enjoying ACoTaR? I went into this expecting some growth.
30% in and this has been a slog.
Now, don't get me wrong, I love fantasy YA romances with complex anti-heroes that leave you questioning your self-esteem issues. (Sorry, it's a character flaw, I guess?) But this is getting... painful.
