OK, the Québécois in this book seriously speak too much English (doubt anybody "hey man" people on a regular basis, or use Franglais words like Checkez) ... But it's also funny that the other main thing our Parisian protagonist notices seem to be the ubiquitous squirrels..

This book is hard to put down, at a total of 1000 pages you'd expect it to be drawn out. But God is this a page turner.

I will never finish this book...this is the third time abandoning and I've only inched a chapter more than last time...

Well, Gabriel Betteredge was naive, but still somewhat entertaining of a narrator. Ms. Drusilla Clack is the most annoying self-righteous missionary I've ever encountered....but I suppose the author intended it to be so. "Satan in the Sofa Cusion", oh dear God!
