I'm excited to re-read this for my men's group! I'm the only one that's read it already, so I'm super excited to dive back into this with fresh eyes.

Finally finished the first section! I've already gotten teary-eyed a few times. Such a powerful and balanced portrayal of the Gospel amidst so much mental turmoil and crisis.

Reading as an alternative text because The Color Purple is just too graphic for me. Butler's prose is share, simple, and highly addictive. Each page leaves me wanting more!

Book 2 time!!

Reading the first 10 pages of this book was an utterly transcendent experience.
