Vey good so far! The audiobook narrator is superb.

Man, I can’t WAIT to teach about Michelangelo on Sabbath!

Really glad I read As I Lay Dying before this. Lerner has a great prose, but a confusing style.

What an ending. What an ending…

This book is gutting. It takes so much energy to read, but it’s just so dang worth it! Cannot wait to see how Faulkner brings it all together.

First 50 pages were incredibly confusing, but then it clicked. Faulkner’s prose is absolutely incredible- some of the best I’ve ever read. Need to set aside some long reading sessions for this one- it’s hard to read in short sittings.

I have no idea what is going on. The poor horse!!

Nice light bedtime reading! My girlfriend loves this series.

So refreshing. Relativism leads to anarchy so, so quickly, as we’re seeing every day in news headlines, and especially on social media. I’m so grateful to God for the fact that Truth transcends more than our grasps at it as humans. Ultimate Truth and morality are out there, though we’re often much too stupid to discover it on our own!

I’ve never read a book that expanded my understanding of science so much… let alone a fictional book! About 70% of all the science-y stuff flies right over my head, but I am starting to get a general sense of what’s going on… and it’s scary.

Halfway through, and I finally understand the title!

This is really starting to pick up! Im still not thrilled with the emphasis on the full-body video game concept though, I hope the author will expand it and explain it more thoroughly soon.

This is likely the 4th or 5th sifi book I’ve read that heavily involves some full body experience video game. I’m so tired of the worn-out trope, but I’m holding on because of this book’s critical acclaim and because the premise of the game is actually interesting lol

I ask forgiveness to myself for not properly starting Zooey sooner. Buddy’s letter was INCREDIBLE, and I’m convinced that there’s something transcendent about Salinger’s prose.
