This is really starting to pick up! Im still not thrilled with the emphasis on the full-body video game concept though, I hope the author will expand it and explain it more thoroughly soon.

This is likely the 4th or 5th sifi book I’ve read that heavily involves some full body experience video game. I’m so tired of the worn-out trope, but I’m holding on because of this book’s critical acclaim and because the premise of the game is actually interesting lol

I ask forgiveness to myself for not properly starting Zooey sooner. Buddy’s letter was INCREDIBLE, and I’m convinced that there’s something transcendent about Salinger’s prose.

Chapter 7 is likely my favorite so far! So engaging, so powerful, and so focused on why we’re here on Earth. This book makes me want to be a better man!

Primarily listening to this one! I’ve heard good things about this book, and great things about the sequels. Been a long time since I read a good si-fi, so I’m excited!

This book continues to be relevant to where I am in life every time I read it. Such a valuable resource!

SO good. Bradbury’s prose is phenomenal, every sentence could be studied (probably why it’s assigned so much in school).

Can’t believe I haven’t read this yet. I’m more engaged in this than I was the first time I tried reading it! Looking forward to it.

Finished Franny in one short sitting. Salinger’s unrivaled dialogue paired with his great prose made this a treat to read. I feel like I missed the greater purpose of the story- this would have been fun to analyze in class.

Feels so good to be bake. Decided to reread the first 4-5 chapters and have been journaling after each chapter. This book has already been a blessing!

What a wild start

The pages of this book read themselves... Mandel's prose is simple but engaging, and sneaks in some poetic lines here and there. I'm not sure how she does it, as I tend to dislike this very generalized style of writing that often sells well.

Been wanting to read this for a while. I have no idea what it has in store, but I'm enjoying it so far!

Read a lot more with the girlfriend on our drive to and from seeing Cody Fry live! This book is such a treat.
