I’ve been holding off on these so my daughter and I can experience the series for the first time together. She’s finally asked, and so here we are.

Enjoyable read so far.

I really just wanted to officially mark down that I’m on vacation, and my 3 travel buddies not only heeded my (very specific-for-them) book recommendations, but they’re also reading down here and loving all of them. Success!!!!!

Intrigue! I’m…intrigued.

More brutal than I was anticipating, but I’m really enjoying it so far.

Love that I found this in a free little library while on vacation.

I’m already way too invested in every single character. This story is going to break my heart, I just know it.

I’m going to finish it, but eh. I’m enjoying Part 3 enough, but I skimmed Part 2 entirely.

“I feel seen” and “I feel attacked” are overused and eyeroll-inducing, but kinda?? But also not at all. I don’t know. I’m very uncomfortable right now.

I am irrationally angry at Bob Odenkirk right now.

This book is crushing me right now, but I can’t stop reading. 😭

Interested to learn how much of this story is true and which parts are purely fictional.

Definitely gets more interesting about 1/3rd in. Can’t tell yet if the ending is going to thrill me or kill me. 😩

Complicated and compelling so far.

Light and pretty damn funny. So far, not feeling how much slack she’s giving her shitbag husband, but we’ll see where it goes.

I keep seeing reviews saying the reader couldn’t get through the slow beginning, but I disagree with all of it (so far). O’Farrell is so beautifully descriptive.
