What a beautiful book! I loved it

59% i just started this book that everyone on Goodreads seems to love… and honestly, I’m struggling. The hype had me expecting brilliance, but so far it’s slow, dry, and I’m flipping pages hoping something clicks. Trying to keep an open mind—maybe the magic is still coming?

I honestly can’t believe this book was written by Jennifer Hartmann. Like, I triple-checked the cover because… what?! This doesn’t feel like her at all.
Still loyal, still rooting for her — but this one was a miss. And honestly? It kind of broke my heart to say that.

80% and not loving it..Marie is pinning after Tyler and..yeah, Jonah, behaving like a teenage girl even though she is 38. She should know better! Tyler I didn’t like, sorry. I know he’s grieving and all but no, I want a MMC totally obsessed about the FMC so, no, I don’t like this book so far. Calla’s and Jonah’s story was perfect, this book unfortunately isn’t

Hmm..this book gives me creepy grooming vibes…and I’ve read Credence and Torment by Dylan Page without a problem. Something feels off with this book..

I find it a bit disappointing compared to the first two. The beginning feels childish, and there's too much "insta-love" for my taste. Perhaps the earlier books set a higher standard but I’m hoping the plot will pick up as I continue reading.
I liked Carnal Urges more than the others. It seems to have resonated with me in a special way.
