Why hasn't this book ended yet? It could have wrapped this up 100 pages ago...

Finally reading the Net Galley book I requested... a while ago. The prologue intrigued me, the opening chapter did not. People need a reason, like a real reason, to be enemies. You can't generally walk around being hostile to people. Don't like the main characters at all...

Okay seriously, we're 60% in an now they add a second POV. Seriously. This is like the wildest rollercoaster of a 16 year old's secret diary of fantasies I've ever heard. And I am still reading it. The 34 year old me is shaking her head in disgust. The 16 year old me is squealing and blushing.

Look, is it gripping? No. But is it a nice read to pick up and read a few chapters every night? Well that's what I am doing.

I am not going to lie, I am struggling to see how the same person who wrote Kulti (best book I have read this year by far), wrote this. I am finding all the "sluts and whores" talk just a bit jarring and there isn't enough character development or plot to offset it.

Will I finish it? Probably. Am I so excited to find time to read it? Not really.

This is the perfect palette cleanser of a book. Light, well-written, easy.

This is such an empowering read! The lovely ways we can make the world a better place are so attainable. I am enjoying this one so much.

OK, have I just read too many books lately or is this book just bad? I am struggling to find a plot. I am struggling to believe these characters. I am struggling to keep reading instead of hurling this book towards the wall and yelling "next please".
