8 chapters in and I already hate the book. Does it even get better? I loveee angst and cruelty in my books and I imagined that this book was similar to unwanted wife but the Mmc seems pathetic smh.
Also I can't fathom the idea that he bosses her around so much knowing that she is the grandaughter of his "mentor". Like she is supposed to not be this spineless if she is the rich and privileged kid here, right?

I've read some really f-up and misogynistic characters, Weird Fathers &family, cheater husbands but they all made sense in some way bc either they were truly evil, in mafia or in historical fiction but these characters are soo pathetic.They marry the girl to him knowing full well how he is then never check on her, like how?And all the time they pretend like they will improve her condition but don't.It's all so cringy

And what is wrong with everyone in the book? why do they hate the fmc so much :-; Like she is all covered in bandages and her best friend just b#ish slaps her in the face splitting her lip and punches her in abdomen which opens her stitches AGAIN and noone is bothered by that -_-

Okay, I've only read like 15% of this book and Idk how the author will redeem Mason 💀Wtf is wrong with this boi

Oh I am just 10 % in and I feel sick. She grew up in a f-ing motorcycle club and yet she took that extreme kind of abuse from her husband? I don't mean to shame the victim here but how can that make sense. The domestic violence victims are generally helpless or very manipulated. In her case, she absolutely hated him and he wasn't even manipulating her plus she had a great backup from her badass pop! so whyyy girl?

Um so Anders has no.... absolutely no love for her?? He acts so distant :-; and though I am aware that it's a TPE bdsm novella but still, I mean a little, just little romantic feelings from Him for her would have been appreciated, am I wrong?

I really read it all until this chapter in one sitting...but damn, I cannot read further without giving myself a break. I really hope that Kailey is not raped again and somehow someone saves her..... It's not a trigger for me but I am sweaty and so anxious. Even though I am not finished with this duet but I am pretty sure that this is one of my best reads this year >.> already.

Damn, I am struggling to read this...and I have read pretty much every fxcked up shit before but this. The h never gets any break, does she. I feel sad and so miserable for her. She is strong, way too strong for her own good and I love that she has a fighting spirit and isn't broken even after everything but really..... it's just too much. I have to take breaks like literally long breaks before continuing to read it.

I already feel sorry for Addison even though I don't know abt her past yet but >.> Cole realllyyy looks like a revenge driven psychopath >.>

I have read many high level jerk H characters but this book has me really mad. I don't even like the dead best friend Rachel. She knew that Shane hated Katie and Katie was always there for her but she never even tried to defend her in front of her jack@ss husband. And Shane, don't even get me started on him. There's not even a single likeable thing abt him. He is just self centered prick & a manchild with no manners.

A good book so far but I really want to kill that little Heather >_< !!!!
