I have now read the entirety of the Old Testament after 3.5 years. Chose one verse from each chapter to highlight and consider application to my life, learned how to read Hebrew although I'm not yet very good at it. As this is a Journaling Bible I write prayers on each page. What a journey this has been.

It takes time to read a book like this. Ypu have to go through it slowly, deep in thought, surrendering all to God, with an open heart and mind. Its words live in you bexause they are God's words. Nothing in this world is superior to the Holy word of God.
