Well so far the first 46 pages have been at least as fun to read as The Witcher 3 was to play - that is to say, REALLY fun!

Getting a pretty slow start considering the cliff hanger ending of the first book. Hopefully something happens here soon.

Oi. There’s still another 150 pages of this book. Yet every time I think I’m too bored to continue something else happens that grabs me.

Yeesh this one is a slow burn. But I guess in all fairness the reviews did warn me, right?

Not bad at this point. Enjoying the mystery of not knowing which boy is the assassin and which one is the prince. Though introducing both these new characters at once had the predictable result of me being confused as to which one was which. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Interesting opening scene, though the metaphors had me briefly wondering what on earth is going on. Too soon to tell of the figurative language will interrupt the narrative too much.
