Great idea poorly executed

The writing is very poor. As with the first book, This reads more like a first draft in need of stylistic revisions an polishing. I couldn't get into it once I realized I was in for more if the same. With more interesting prospects in my book queue, I chose not to continue.

I couldn't stay interested in this story. It moved slow. I put it down for a while figuring that it'd be easier to read when my baby got a but older, but nope. This story could be condensed. I still want to know how it turns out, but I've read about a hundred books since then and I still can't manage to get into this one.
