Oh god I knew it...the foreshadowing was perfect because there was confusion to have a tad of uncertainty when your gut tells you something. This book reads like a fast train and will be recommended. Maggie O' Farrel her books are ALL on my to read list now.

Actually no current (self inflicted) suffering is dramatic when, after a lot of vagueness, reading this flashback. I am succesfully disgusted, lost and wary as this is only a part of the backstory. God...

Hmmm yes this will be sad. We know there is trauma but not the specifics... and there are still 600 pages...I'm scared how the author is gonna play with my emotions. We are taking our time to get to know the characters intimately, poetically in all mundane day to day descriptions.

Finally picking it up again and comitting to the thickest on my shelves 🫡

Okey...I get the hype now. The writing really is fenomonal. I believe this book found me so I am curious what I will find in the story.

Did not expect a love story to bewitch me and such great flow of scenes that makes the reader familiar with the father/tutor. Knowing who this actually is, I am excited to learn more throughout the story...

Binged it to the end and it' 6 am...coming back to this review I NEED SLEEP
