Loving this book! I have anticipated it on the promise of a lady knight and time travel, but it has been so unexpected and interesting. 😍 Hoping it continues to deliver.

What a start 😳 I am baffled but loving this at the same time. Its very bleak and a bit strange, but I am interested to see things unfold.

Just started and WOW… I remember those rhymes and songs from when I was a kid. Clearly they have lyrics and roots I did not know. I can already tell this is going to be a powerful read.

I love this world and is quirky characters! That first chapter was kinda gross though. 😂

Such a unique writing style and unrelenting prose telling the story of a young black girl during 1940s. Named Pecola, this young girl’s experiences are harsh and devastating. I have put this book down before, due to its intense content, but on the second try am finding it moving and heartbreaking.

Just started but I’m into it… am I becoming a fantasy romance girl?? 🫢
