ugh a bit slow in reading. but enjoying their meet up! abby jimenez always has a kick with starting her books

something about starting Abby Jimenez's books that makes me giggle in excitement

as always, Khurram has very encouraging writing

i find this book to be a guide for establishing a connection with the quran. it's thought provoking as well as being simple with the advices.

but I did notice the structure can feel repetitive at times. The constant use of “firstly, secondly, thirdly”

I’m only 38 pages in, yet my heart is pounding (not kidding) with how powerfully these words have seeped into me.

expect the weirdness

what an immature reason to break up i thought it was actually a very big problem.

Honestly, Dusty’s conversation with Camille feels kinda cringey to me instead of reassuring. It gives very high-school-lovers energy, and it just doesn’t hit the way it’s probably meant to.

Now that I’m 200+ pages in, the characters’ POVs are starting to feel kind of monotone and flat. Both sides sound emotionally similar, and there’s a lot of going in circles with the same doubts and pretty much the same internal monologue.

-the mmc is a yearner
-the town, the house, the people <3

after all these years and you still remember pieces of her <3

clara is quite a relatable character. i just find it weird how she went to the US and completely lost contact and mever met her family back home during those years

love the funny parts hehe but 180 pages in and you still dont have an idea on why the mmc loves the fmc

too much content on the siblings if compared to the other bokks

it took 82 pages to make me interested with the boook anyways, love the bluntness of the fmc!

ofcourse I had to read this series!

starting this read today and loving this!

convinced that anyone who likes this book either has zero info on the Iranian history and Islamic principles. I'm very very disturbed reading this book.
