Shadow and Bone is a decent story. The story of Alina Starkov the chosen one, the one who would get rid of the Shadow Fold once and for all. Its a pretty typical YA fantasy novel, but very captivating with a Russian inspired world building.

Bardugo do a good enough job at keeping us interested in the characters and the plot, but just enough. I may or may not keep reading the rest of this trilogy.

I feel betrayed all I wanted crushed. I was fooled just as her, and I love it!

It feel good to still be able to feel such enjoyment while reading. So far it seems to be an interesting story. Nothing out of the ordinary, but for sure entertaining. And I'm not hating Alina, no yet anyway.

I seem to remembered more than I thought.
