So The Key world is the original one. And all people in alternate realities are called Echos. yes, I'm writing this here so I won't forget later on. What can I say, no notepad close by :D

I wish the author would expand on the worldbuilding a bit more. Then again, I'm only on ch. 3 so there's still time. So far, it's awesome and fascinating. And if you pay attention, it's hard to misunderstand the terms/general rules of the book's universe.

Awesome first chapter, an attention grabber for sure.

It goes something like this: her "chest flutters" and she "hates herself for it", but she always ends up going to him, which in turns makes ME hate HER for it. Ugh

Because, if it's not, I don't see how a brainwashing program of such magnitude would work in the first place

So I have to wonder..is this one of humankind's secret desire? To have an app make all decisions for folks, absolve them of any responsability?

I've been laughing for 5 minutes traight now. I don't ever want this book to end!

Of course, I'll relish the moment when Matthias is taken down a peg by Aurora. I think I'll cheer and do a little cartwheel, too.

Ayden and Aurora are one of the veeery few book couples that actually made me giggle like a schoolgirl.

"No, he was more like a mother ape picking through my hair for fleas and ticks". Aurora, you lucky girl. LOL

Haha, Tristan's little meltdown over Aurora's mysterious aunt is hilarious.

Aurora is as amazing, funny and sassy as ever. I've missed her. <3

Does the fact I've been conditioned to expect a romance in a novel say more about me or 99.9% of YA books getting published? Hmm.

Thank the gods for Jackal, the savior! He is the brutal voice of reason and without him all 4 of them ( Allie, Zeke, Kanin and Jackal himself) would still be on the road to Eden, moping, being depressed, being somber or snarking, respectively.

Also, she's been a vampire for far longer than he has, shouldn't she be way, way stronger than he is? I don't see any evidence of that during their fight.

How many times can Zeke pull the same shtick and STILL fool Allie? Seriously now, get a hint already.

I missed Jackal. He is AWESOME.

So here's the thing. I'm always the first to want to bitchslap an MC because she's being bratty, or stupid or selfish, but in this case? I can't help but want to smack EVERYONE around her. Yeah, she's snapping and being a bitch, but ya know what? She kind of has a right to. She's been to Hell, can't these people just leave her alone for one moment. They ALL want something of her and demand it and it's pissing me off.

Well..so far, I'm not getting any fuzzy feelings for Tallon. He might call her out on her silliness sometimes, and he's got a point, but he's still more or less an ass. Apologizing doesn't make him less of one, heh.

I just realized I read so many books this year that are still sitting on my TBR shelf. Guess I have to go through that list, move them to "read", possibly write reviews..This way, at least, you'll definitely be able to tell which books I liked and which ones I didn't, since I won't remember anything from the ones that were bad.

I get why he doesn't want her to interfere, but everytime he says something like "I won't let anything happen to you", my mind just rebels and snaps back with "oh yeah, steal her dreams and act the knight in shining armor, protect the new Damsel in Distress". Ugh. Why can't she be allowed to protect herself? ..I have issues.

Never in my life have I read more unbelievable dialogue. The MC's thoughts, lines and reactions are completely baffling and ..unreal. By which I mean, no one in their right mind would think, speak and react that way.

Even though Puck is, for all intents and purposes, a character I'm supposed to sympathize with, I can't bring myself to like her, not even one bit. Her constant foul mood, the snapping at other people - her little brother included, when he's worried sick over her well being, is making her look like a horrible, selifsh person.

Aw, I love that she thinks of her mom as her best friend. it's sweet
