Great book so far. Benjamin Franklin, admirable for his known accomplishments, held many interests and pursuits in his life before becoming acclaimed for his now inventions and political impact. It’s amazing to see how these interests helped shape the man he’s known as today

So far it’s amazing the details and experiences Victor Franklin talks about in the everyday life of a concentration camp. Humans weren’t humans, they were just numbers, treated as such. But what’s even more interesting is the prisoners who died of giving up vs those who didn’t. The ones who didn’t took a pride in their suffering. They offered it towards a higher purpose and were able to find meaning in it.
