Lots of action has happened already. Wayne is still my favorite. Marasi is a woman-shaped robot. I'm shipping her and Wax. They're both robots.

Oh hey I'm back in mistborn world again to read the very hyped wax and wayne series and... IDK I'm not feeling it yet. But I'm only about to hit chapter 3 and so far Wax has (spoiler) accidentally killed his first wife in a Mexican standoff and is on the search for a new one. Maybe. If he can quit his metal eating habit, which, considering he's a some sort of mistborn, I'm going to bet not. Wayne is already my fave.

Chapter 1: who the heck are all these people and am I supposed to know them? Dropped in the middle of things no context. It's only half as confusing as gardens of the moon thanks to all the exposition.

Dramatic start, romantic angst, magical amnesia, ghosts... So far so good.

Wild start. Let's go! KB knows how to hook you with early suspense that's for sure.
