I’m getting a little confused why they feel like they have to tell each other their secrets or “it’s only fair to tell them xx before they become entangled” if they’re only doing so to get info from each other…

Hmm…is Cat trying to get her husband to cheat on her? I just feel like the scenes where Neena is talking to police feels like she might have been framed.

I really enjoy the relationship the main characters have. I’m curious how their story will end in this book!

I looked at some reviews before finishing the book and agree that it could have explored themes like surveillance and government control more, as these things are relevant in the US. I disagree with the idea that books need likable characters. If our most honest inner thoughts and our actions when we’re alone were available for us to view, wrapped up into a character, would we like ourselves?
